What is ECL?

ECL ( European Consortium for(European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages) is a standardized language proficiency exam developed for European languages , including German , based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) . The ECL exam tests four core language skills : listening, reading, writing, and speaking , and is available for levels A2 to C1 . The exam focuses on real-life communication and is ideal for learners who want to certify their language competence for academic, professional, or personal purposes.
